Fight! - Stallone v. Schwarzenegger: A Rivalry of Muscular Proportions
And our marathon comes to an end with a film that, to some extent, I can understand why people not only think this is a sketch overstretched to 90 minutes, but also may not dig the humor.
Personally, while I never found myself laughing out loud, I was consistently amused and entertained by these hitmen, led by Taran Killam (who also directs), who apparently are the best at their fields but see themselves getting killed and outmatched by the title character Gunther is mostly played by a stuntman until he reveals himself at the very end as this tongue and cheek, manic Arnold Schwarzenegger. He seemed to be having the…

Proves I'll put up with a lot to see Arnold be funny.

Some funny moments here and there with a decent cast, and Arnold’s limited screentime is gold, but ultimately I felt a bit let down and wanted Arnold. Kudos to him for getting involved in more low budget indie features and having a blast while doing it.

I’m genuinely perplexed on both why this was made and what drove Schwarzenegger to actually participate. This film is a fucking horrible abomination. It fails on every single category it defines itself upon. The comedy and action are just incredibly lacklustre with the former a punishment to sit through. If anyone eats this shit up and thinks it’s even remotely “ok” I’d seriously suggest you revaluate your taste and self-esteem.

IM SORRY BUT.......
DO NOT FEAR BEING AN OUTSIDER.... DO NOT FEAR FILMS WITH LOW RATINGS... I understand that this film isn't going to win any awards BUT it did it's part in keeping the giggles flowing and really made my day to be honest, I feel lighthearted and giddy in mood. Overall -- a pretty
silly film but what do you expect with parodies ;)WATCH IT. IGNORE THE RATINGS.
LONG LIVE ARNIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE S !!!

Review by Matt Singer ★★
Don’t have time to write a full review but this was hugely disappointing. Arnold is fun, but barely in it until the final 15 minutes. (The rest of the time all the other characters are looking for his master assassin, so they can kill him.) When Arnold shows up, the movie suddenly springs to life (and he “sings” a country song over the closing credits, and it is awful and sublime). But before that it is a slog. What a bummer.

zero actual laffs (closest i got was "your middle name is ramis?" "yes, barold ramis") but a cool 90s gerund title for this "we have macgruber at home" mockumentary (why?) with medium-good use of writer-director-star taran killams tense, buttigiegesque physiology, like his sweatervested glee club sicko from community. as a madtv-loyal auteurist i had to turn up for TEAR'N'KILLEM's directorial debut even tho i dont rly understand what its about, which i guess makes it less predictable than a conventionally-structured satire or comedy so despite no real "action" it leaves room to get a lil bit more interesting as it gets sadder - hate to mention another must-see-tv relic but im a sucker for wistful karaoke sequences, like tracy in…

Review by 🇵🇱 Steve G 🐝 ★★½
Arnold Schwarzenegger's post-politics comeback to cinema has seen him try and spread his wings a little, with his trademark action films being fewer and further between than anyone might have expected.
Here he takes a back seat until the last 20 minutes, not appearing at all until that point, dropping into the role of the mythical hitman of the title and promptly stealing the whole film with his butterfly decorated sports jacket and cappuccinos covered in chocolate sprinkles in the shape of a skull. It's just a shame that first time director Taran Killam seems determined to spoil his fun appearance with some stupidly shoehorned old catchphrases that are completely unnecessary.
Until that point, this takes the form of a…

I hated the first hour and seven minutes. Until, Arnold finally comes on screen. Nailing every line of dialogue and singing his heart out in the final credits. That said, this is terrible.
